Voice

Colleen has always had a connection to music. She got involved at an early age singing in choirs and elementary school rock bands. She continued studying vocal performance and in her teens, she was selected to attend statewide choral performances. She performed in many local musical theatre productions. Colleen went on to receive a degree in vocal performance from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her focus was Jazz and Classical Opera, but she was already fronting Rock bands in the local Boston music scene. She has performed in many music groups and taken part in recordings of varied musical styles including Rock, Afro Beat, Folk, Soul, Jazz, Jam, Alternative Rock, Country and Americana. She has released 3 original albums and toured the USA performing as The Grass Gypsys with her husband, Justin Kleya. She currently performs as a vocalist/percussionist around New England in her band Loving Cup. She enjoys taking the skills she has learned as a vocalist and creating individualized voice lessons that inspire people to sing what they love and enjoy it.
