TUITION, PAYMENT, POLICY

POLICY     

Band Gig™ School of Music & Performance, Inc. is a year-round music school offering instruction by some of the areas best teachers. Our faculty has been selected from the finest players and educators. It is important that the students make a commitment to their musical education. The faculty will use the half-hour lesson time to introduce new music concepts, as well as reinforcing those already known. It is a responsibility of the student to schedule daily practice time. Parents of students should strongly encourage their child’s daily practice time.

TUITION      

TRIAL MONTH: For new Private Lesson clients we offer $99.99 for the first four 1/2 hour lessons.

Tuition for private music lessons is $175. per month along with a one time $80. deposit. Tuition is non-refundable.  The deposit will be refunded with a two week notice of leaving the program by notifying the office at (781) 686-1526.

Tuition for Join a Band Program is $360. for a 12 week session ($240. if currently enrolled in our Private Lesson program). 

Tuition checks should be made out to Band Gig™ and received by the 25th of each month for the up coming months tuition.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION     

Students must pay for lessons in advance for the upcoming calendar month. Payment is due by the 25th of each month for the upcoming month of lessons. Lessons missed due to pre-planned vacation, holidays, weather, and/or teacher absence will be made up at the earliest possible convenience.   A twenty-four hour notice is required to re-schedule a private lesson. Make-up classes in a group format will be offered periodically throughout the year to accommodate those who missed a lesson due to same day cancellation.     Because the majority of our lessons occur in the afternoon to early evening, we do not necessarily follow  school snow cancellations. If the weather conditions are questionable, please call your private lesson teacher or Band Gig School of Music & Performance™ at (781) 686-1526 to confirm a lesson. It is up to the student or students parent to inquire about make-up lessons. Monthly tuition cannot be refunded if you leave mid-month. Make-up lessons that are owed will be forfeited upon withdrawal from the program. There is no make-up for a confirmed make-up lesson missed.

 

SCHEDULING     

If you cannot keep your appointed lesson for whatever reason, please call your private lesson teacher or Band Gig School of Music & Performance™ at (781) 686-1526. Office hours are Monday-Friday 10:00AM-5:00PM.  You can call and leave a message 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 

WITHDRAWING FROM THE PROGRAM

If you decide to withdraw from the program, for any reason, you must inform the office by the 15th of the month (two week notice). If the two week notice is not provided to the office (your teacher is not the office) your deposit will be retained or you may be charged for the next months tuition. If you are on our AutoPay program and fail to withdraw before the 24th of the month, we will retain 10% credit card processing fee. To withdraw call (781) 686-1526.

 

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS     

In the unforeseen event of a teacher emergency or absence Band Gig reserves the right to provide a fully qualified substitute instructor without prior notice.
